Covered Arena, Jones Ranch Arena is located on Highway 1 between Cuesta College and Morro Bay. Turn eaast on San Bernardo Creek Road and Make immediate rigth turn, arena is 1/2 mile on left. 2095 Adobe Rd, Morro Bay, Ca Call if weather is really bad. Royal Oaks Arena, Ranch and Stables:
From the South (Gilroy) – Take Highway 101 (South) to Watsonville. Exit at San Juan Road. Go approximately 2.5 miles and turn left on Tarpey Road. Go approximately 1.5 miles and turn left at the street right after Royal Oaks Feedstore (Maher Road). Turn left into the first driveway. The arena is visible from Maher Road.
From the North (Salinas) – Take Highway 101 (North) toward Watsonville. Exit on San Miguel Canyon Road. Go to the end of San Miguel Canyon Road and turn right at the stop light (the road ends, you have to turn right or left ....) onto Tarpey Road. Drive approximately 1/4 mile and you will pass the other half of San Miguel Canyon on your left then Maher will be immediately on your right. Turn right onto Maher, then left into Royal Oaks.
Parking can be tight during a big show, make sure you do not block the track area that is around the main parking lot. This facility will open up the back parking area behind the barns if needed. Odom Ranch- 1991 Chittenden Pass, San Juan Bautista. Take Highway 101 to San Juan Bautista. Exit Highway 129 heading west toward Watsonville. Drive approximately 2 miles and the driveway entrance will be on your right. Photo on Bottom Right, Great Ground and Parking.
Quail Creek Ranch: 1652 Old Stage Road, Salinas, CA. Take Highway 101 to South Salinas (Chualar). Go east on Potter Road. Turn right on Old Stage Road. Look for the sign/entrance to the parking area.
Monterey County Sheriff’s Posse Grounds: Take Highway 101 to Salinas. Exit highway 101 and head east on Crazy Horse Canyon Road. Drive 3.8 miles and turn right on San Juan Grade Road. Drive 1.2 miles and turn left on Hebert. Drive .5 miles and Hebert Road will become Old Stage Road. Drive another 1.1 miles and go left on Old Natividad Road. The arena facility gate entrance will 2 blocks down on your left.
River View Ranch(formerly Pisoni Ranch): 844 River Road, Salinas, CA. Take highway 101 to South Salinas. Exit at the Chualar exit and head west. Drive over the train tracks and turn right on Chualar River Road. Go approximately 2-3 miles. Cross over the river bridge and stay on the road heading north approximately ¼ mile. Turn left at the next private semi paved road where the wooden address sign is. Go up the hill and the road bens to the right. Turn right down the next driveway. FOLLOW SIGNS TO THE ARENA. Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds: Take Highway 101 to the town of Aromas. Exit at Highway 129 and head west toward Watsonville. Drive approximately 8 miles. You’ll drive through a small neighborhood, go under a railroad crossing, and follow it through some hills. Turn right on Carlton (it almost looks like a fork in the road). This road will have a couple of bends to it and you will be on it for approximately 3 miles. You will come to a stop sign at E. Lake Road/Highway 152. Turn left at this stop sign and go ¾’s of a mile. The fairgrounds will be on your right and the first driveway in is the horse show entrance. As you drive in, follow the signs down to the arena. There are plenty of areas to park on this property.
Medicine Wheel Ranch: Take Highway 101 to Salinas. Exit at Sanborn west toward Highway 68/South Main. Go to River Road. Head south and you will see the Medicine Wheel Ranch on your left side. If you are in a large rig, make sure you park out on the paved roadway surface during wet weather conditions.
Taylor Made Farms: Take Highway 101 to San Martin. Exit at San Martin Avenue and head west. Make an immediate left on Murphy Road. Follow this road for 1.5 miles. Cross over Church Avenue (stop sogn) and the arena will be two blocks south on your left side. This arena is very popular, make sure to park as conservatively as possible.
